by Colin and Valerie Gardner.

Background Built in 1904 the Manse was run by the Wesleyan Methodists when it was operated as
The Ministers home and chapel until 1983. The building retains many of its
Original features stained glass windows, the original staircase, and a superb marble
fireplace in the Lounge.
Approach The Old Manse is located 5mins walk from the town
Centre and the North York Moors Steam railway. Situated on the western
Side of Pickering, the Ryedale towns of Kirbymoorside and Malton are a short
car journey away.

Licensed The Hotel is Licensed to sell wines beers and spirits to all our Guests.
Safety Safety and fire risk assessments have taken place in order to
produce relevant policies which are regularly reviewed.
Pets We allow well trained dogs in our bedrooms and gardens, but
not in the Lounge or Dining area.
Hotel Layout There are two ground floor rooms, four on the first floor, and four on
the second. Many rooms have zip and link beds, allowing versatility.
Young Children We are able to provide cots and highchairs – and childrens meals
when ever they are required.
Food. We are noted for the excellent meals we serve at breakfast and dinner,
a feature is Yorkshire produce. Many of our suppliers are local.
Fresh vegetables are also grown in the garden. We are able to
for all dietary requirements please advise when you book.
Hospitality It is important to us that our guests are made welcome and enjoy the
atmosphere of the Old Manse and gardens. Many of our guests are
frequent visitors.
Parking There is ample car parking on site for all our guests.
Arrival We try to have rooms available from mid-day, however, if you
arrive early we can look after your luggage and you may
use the car park.
